Investiture Ceremony 2024

“Students of today are the torch bearers of tomorrow“

On July 13, 2024, Guru Nanak Academy held its investiture ceremony for the year 2024 -2025. It was with great pride and dignity that the nominated prefects accepted their badges of office.

The function was graced by Dr, Anuj Singh principal of Prakriti Valley School, who was the Chief Guest， Our Chairman Mr. Harcharan Singh Pasricha, our Vice Chairman, Mr. Vimal Deep Singh, our principal Mr DPS Gupta, Our School Consultant and Dean of Academics, Cambrian Hall Mrs. Annie Singh as well as the parents of the prefects and the teachers of the school.

The event opened with a solemn prayer to bless the newly appointed prefects this was followed by a slow march by the nominated prefects to the stage. The Oath of Office was then administered on the prefects by the Principal, Mr. D.P.S. Gupta. The Badges of Office were then pinned on the newly appointed prefects by the Chief Guest, Dr. Anuj Singh and other dignitaries amidst thunderous applause and cheers from their peers. The school choir then sang an inspirational song to bless the newly appointed prefects.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Anuj Singh then congratulated the student body and in an inspiring speech encouraged them to carry out their duties diligently and with the utmost dedication. He told them that they must strive to be role models for their peers and bring accolades to the school.

The function concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the School Principal Mr. D.P.S. Gupta.
